Gcode Preview & Statistics
Once your files are sliced, Printsite Studio lets you preview the generated Gcode in 3D and review detailed statistics about your print before sending it to your machine.
Opening the Preview
Section titled “Opening the Preview”- Select your machine from the Machines tab on the left.
- Click Preview the Gcode at the bottom of the right bar.
The preview screen shows the full toolpath that your machine will follow, layer by layer.
Navigating the Toolpath
Section titled “Navigating the Toolpath”- Use the layer slider to move through the print layer by layer and verify that everything looks correct.
- Toggle Display G0 to show or hide the travel moves (the non-printing movements between printed sections).
Statistics
Section titled “Statistics”The Statistics panel estimates the key figures of your print. Some values depend on parameters you can adjust directly in the panel.
Parameters you can adjust
Section titled “Parameters you can adjust”| Parameter | Description |

| Material | The concrete mix used for the estimate. Each material has its own density and water ratio. |
| Layer width (in mm) | The width of the printed bead. Used to compute the printed volume. |
| Print speed (in mm/s) | The printing speed, used to estimate the print duration. |
| Material price (€ / big bag) | The price of one big bag of material, used to estimate the project cost. |
Estimated values
Section titled “Estimated values”| Statistic | Description |

| Print duration | Estimated total printing time, based on the toolpath length and your print speed. |
| Print length | Total length of printed material (the distance the nozzle extrudes). |
| Material volume | Estimated volume of material, shown in m³ and in number of big bags. |
| Material weight | Estimated weight of material, in tons. |
| Water volume | Estimated amount of water needed for the mix, in liters. |
| Project cost | Estimated material cost, based on the price per big bag. |
Downloading the Gcode
Section titled “Downloading the Gcode”When you are happy with the preview, click Download the Gcode at the top right of the screen to export the file for your machine.
You can return to the editor at any time using Back to editor.
